Update Brookwood 9U Travel Teams:

After careful consideration and a new partnership with Say When Athletics,  we have decided to hold a final tryout for all, interested, players. The additional tryout will be held on Thursday, July 18th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm and oversighted by the respective coaches from the staff. In addition , we will look to utilize Ronnie Freeman from Say When Athletics (www.saywhenathletics.com)  as we develop the boys into the future. BBSA just partnered with Say When Athletics to manage travel programs starting at 12U to help bridge the gap between middle school and high school baseball which is why we feel it is good to get Ronnie involved early with this group. Ronnie is a graduate of Brookwood High School, played at Kennesaw State and played for 10 years in the MLB with the Diamondbacks, Giants and Athletics. 

We strongly encourage you to attend this tryout even if you have attended one or both, of the first two tryouts.  The goals coming out of this tryout will be as follows:

Select the best players suited to outfit the team
Players will be placed on the team to ensure competitiveness and continuity
Final rosters will be posted Sunday, July 21 to Bethesda Park’s FB page and players will be notified
If you cannot make the tryout on July 18th please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate a make-up (tyoung@playbbsa.com)
We will look to field one team at this age group

Join us this July for our first ever 15U Say When Athletics Summer Showcase. Participants of the showcase will be evaluated and accordingly invited to play on our 15U travel team. Players will receive hitting, running, and throwing metrics for themselves and as well as averages for their age group

Ticket includes entry into the 2-day showcase, event t-shirt, and player card with 60 yard dash time, throwing velocity, and exit velocity
